Barnum's Animals Nabisco Animal Crackers Porcelain Sign

Styled like the famous animal cracker box, this sign shows a red and gold circus cage wagon with four animals behind the bars: a tiger, a lion, a white polar bear and a shaggy bison, each labeled underneath. A curling yellow banner across the top reads BARNUM'S ANIMALS, and the red base spells out NATIONAL BISCUIT COMPANY, with brass grommets at all four corners.

At 11.25 inches wide by 7.75 inches tall, it fits nicely in a kitchen, pantry, play room or snack bar, and it makes a fun gift for anyone who grew up with a box of animal crackers in hand.

Fun fact: In 1902, the same year the crackers got the Barnum's Animals name, Nabisco added a string to the little circus box so it could hang on a Christmas tree as an ornament.
